Member Protocol
There are requirements and protocol as members that we encourage you to follow.  These are the privacy and respect of other members and guests.
 
We encourage you to promote your business but not allow harassment in any way.  If this does occur, please notify our office in writing and the appropriate action will be taken.
 
The placement of promotional / flyers on the luncheons tables is not allowed.  This is assessed on an individual basis ie. sponsors and guest speakers.  We have a members table that you can display your brochures and business cards in the Networking area.


Harassment / Networking Complaints
BWC takes harassment very seriously.  If we receive more than 2 complaints about you or your business, you will be advised that we have received these and work with you on some new networking techniques.  If we receive a 3rd complaint about you or anyone from your business, you will be unable to attend any of our networking events in any area.  This will be notified to you in writing and will take effect immediately on writing of the letter. If you are a member of BWC we will refund you the balance of your membership on a pro rata basis. 
eInvitations & Newsletters
By adding your details to our database you give permission to Business Women Connect to market or promote any Business Women Connect event or events that Business Women Connect are involved with directly or indirectly.  You will be emailed events in the particular region you have chosen and other events that may be useful to your business.


Children
It is not a policy of Business Women Connect for children of any age to attend our networking events.


Speakers
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the information provided by speakers is accurate, Business Women Connect will take no responsibility for incorrect or misleading information that they may provide.  Business Women Connect (BWC) or Imminent Marketing P/L or their agents accept any liability for incorrect or misleading information, illustrations/photography, products, services supplied by the speaker.


Prices and Payment
Once a booking is made a payment for that booking is required prior to the luncheon / workshop / seminar.  All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST. Delivery charges are not included in the prices quoted.


Payment Options
We accept payment by Visa and Mastercard.   You can also Direct Deposit or pay by cheque made payable to Business Women Connect. Payment is taken once we have established that we can fulfill your booking, checked details and availability.


Bookings for BWC events, workshops & seminars
No verbal bookings will be taken over the phone or as a response from direct mail emails.  A booking form must be completed either online or via fax.  Once we have received your booking either by the internet or fax, we take that as a confirmed booking.


Cancellation / Change of BWC events, workshops & seminars
Business Women Connect has the right to alter, change or cancel an event.  You will be notified via email or phone of the cancellation.  Payment will either be credited or refunded upon your request.  Timing, location, venues for events can be changed by BWC at any given time.
 
Cancellation
Your booking cancellation will only be taken two (2) working days prior to the event (the day of the event is not classed as one of these days).  Once numbers have been confirmed with the venue, unfortunately no credits or refunds will be given for the next meeting/s. Payment is required prior to attendance at each event. By attending a BWC event, you accept all the terms and conditions.
